In exactly two months time the doors of Britain’s biggest beer festival will open, offering over 800 real ales, ciders and perries from the UK’s best producers to slake the thirst of over 55,000 beer lovers.
The Great British Beer Festival runs from the 13th – 17th August in the impressive glass roofed main hall of London’s Historic Olympia Exhibition centre.
The recent boom in British brewing will be well represented at the festival, with beer from some of the UK’s smallest up and coming breweries alongside popular favourites from the likes of Fuller’s, Greene King, Shepherd Neame, Thwaites and Brains.
2013 is also the 25th Birthday of “APPLE”, CAMRA’s Real Cider and Perry arm, so rest assured lovers of traditionally produced cider and perry will also be extremely well catered for at The Great British Beer Festival with the one of the largest dedicated cider bars to be found at any UK festival.
As well as British beers and ciders the festival’s dedicated international bars will be serving up rare imported beers from all across the globe including Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, America, Australia and even Japan, so there really is going to be something for everybody.
