Anyone keen on fine chocolate might be interested to know that the newly-opened shop Defaba in Hall Green will be hosting an evening with award-winning chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory this Thursday, 18^th October.

Paul has won numerous awards and has been voted one of the UK’s top 10 chocolatiers, having been commissioned to create chocolates for the launch of Windows live and also the Queen’s 80^th birthday. His expertise and knowledge is well-respected in the industry and he is a judge at the World Chocolate Masters – the world’s premier culinary competition devoted purely to chocolate. During the event, which takes place at Defaba’s shop on Highfield Road, Paul will demonstrate the art of chocolate making. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and, of course, a tasting session.

Tickets for the event can be obtained from Defaba at a cost of £5 each, the cost of which redeemable against purchases and valid up to 24 December 2012 – just in time for Christmas.
