Fazeley Events have announced a new venue in Birmingham’s trendy Digbeth district.
The Old Library is a well loved and established venue in the heart of Birmingham’s arts and media quarter, the Custard Factory.
The Old Library is both stunning and versatile, making it the perfect venue for a wedding, conference or private function. It is steeped in history and can be found on maps of Birmingham dating back to the 1880s.
The Old Library has a blend of modern, open plan space and traditional Victorian Gothic elegance, making it a venue that will leave wedding guests or delegates impressed. It is known for its high vaulted ceiling with skylights and arched diamond leaded windows, making it both atmospheric and enchanting.
For corporate events, the space can easily accommodate up to 160 people for conferences or banquets. The Old Library comes into its own for a drinks reception, where 350 people could comfortably attend.
For something more intimate, the Breakout Room in the main room can comfortably accommodate 12 people for a meeting and is an ideal space for a cloakroom.
For a wedding, the Old Library can easily accommodate 150 guests for a ceremony and sit-down reception, and there is further space for a large bar area and dance floor.
