The giant of the flamenco tradition Juan Martin, joined by a selection of accomplished musicians and Andalusian dancer Raquel de Luna, explores the music’s roots from the Middle East to gypsy influences in his Musical Alhambra at Birmingham Town Hall on 24th May. Tickets £10/£15/£20, on sale now
The singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright, in the headlines for criticising Lady Gaga, arrives at Symphony Hall on 17th November with new material and a band that includes Teddy Thompson on guitar and Krystle Warren on vocals. Tickets £25/£30/£35/£45, n sale from 2pm on Friday 20th April.
