Sir Howard Elston has been signed up by Twitter bosses. And to celebrate, we are announcing a new prize draw for his followers
After months of complicated legal negotiations, Sir Howard Elston and Twitter today announce, in a joint statement, that they are to combine forces in a campaign to deliver truth, justice and dubious news stories to the world.
Sir Howard (DOA) will write for Twitter and, in return, will receive Green stamps (USA) and Nectar points (UK and Commonwealth) for every follower he attracts.
The renowned writer said: ‘I understand the cyberwebbo-world comprehensively. And for close to 7 months the Twittter boys have been trying to get my name on a contract.’
‘Now it has finally happened. Thanks to my staff at Elston Central, the deal has been done and I am a Twitter man.’
‘So…Follow me @SirHoward Elston.’
A Twitter spokesman said: ‘After talking to Sir Howard’s parole officer, we can confirm that we are going into partnership as long as Sir Howard continues to report to his local police station twice a week.’
The first 5000 followers to follow Sir Howard will get a chance to win a holiday for three at a top leisure centre (with free shower and hand creme dispenser access) in a developing country near you.
