A dinner celebrating the best of beef with Tom Aikens and the Lake District Farmers.
Highly acclaimed award-winning chef Tom Aikens will be joining forces with his meat suppliers, Lake District Famers, later this month to create an exclusive menu for his Birmingham diners.
Held on Tuesday 17th October, the meal will be priced at £90 per person. The evening begins at 7pm with a butchery demonstration from the award winning Lake District Farmers who are the leading suppliers to some of the UK’s most acclaimed restaurants.
After being shown a butchery demonstration, visitors will be able to learn about a beef farmer’s journey whilst tucking into a delicious five course beef dinner prepared and cooked by Tom Aikens himself.
The Michelin starred chef, accompanied by the restaurant’s head chef, Tom Wells, will be creating a selection of special beef dishes for the evening, accompanied by carefully matched wines. The menu includes dishes such as 63° Poached Cacklebean Egg with braised beef cheeks in Guinness, Beef Tartar with black garlic aioli and wild puffed rice, and Short Horn Fillet of Beef with Marmite short rib, oyster and Guinness sauce.

It will be a great evening of delicious food, drink and discovering the versatility of beef.”
