Christmas Light Trail returns to Warwick Castle

Mile-long magical spectacular set to enchant visitors.

Christmas at Warwick Castle is back and more enchanting than ever! Nestled in the Warwickshire countryside near Birmingham, Warwick Castle is thrilled to announce it will be kicking off the festive season from Saturday, November 23rd until January 5th 2025. This will see the return of the popular Christmas Light Trail, set to illuminate the castle and its picturesque grounds once again.

As dusk settles over Warwickshire, visitors will become immersed in a mesmerising world of larger-than-life illuminations during the 45-minute trail. Working alongside creative agency T3, Warwick Castle is set to launch their biggest Christmas Trail to date, with this year’s illumination promising to be bigger and more spectacular than ever before. It spans over one mile and features over 40 breath-taking light displays and thousands of shimmering lights. Visitors can view the castle as it transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland with tickets starting from £22.

T3 Creative Agency has announced its return to Warwick Castle to craft a memorable light-up festive experience. T3, a creative agency specialising in creating unique guest experiences including the Zog Playland at Warwick Castle, will bring back its Christmas Light Trail where visitors can wander under the enchanting tunnel, captivated by the changing lights as they embark on a magical journey through the castle grounds and gardens.

As night falls, the experience promises to capture the magic of Christmas for visitors of all ages, as they immerse themselves in the twinkling trees, stunning projections, and enchanting displays that light up the night sky.

David Harding, Director of T3, comments: “Our festive Light Trail has become a beloved tradition, and we’re excited to welcome families back for another year of unforgettable moments under the starry night sky. From the Nutcracker-inspired entrance to the breath-taking displays on the castle itself, as well as the uplifting festive music, there’s something magical for everyone to enjoy.”

For those seeking a quieter experience, On December 9th, Warwick Castle will be hosting a sensory-friendly version of the event, where there will be no flashing lights and the music, and sound effects will be lowered and adapted to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.

As part of the wider Christmas at the Castle event, there will be an array of activities suitable for the whole family, including a magnificent open-air ice rink set against the stunning backdrop of the castle’s towers and turrets, and enchanting storytelling sessions with Father Christmas and Mrs Claus. For those who want to turn their Christmas visit into an unforgettable overnight stay, there are even festive short-break packages available. Guests can wake up to the sound of sleigh bells with their very own elf wake-up call, where Father Christmas’s cheerful elves will bring a special present for the little ones.
