Headlining this year are Levellers, Irish Americans Flogging Molly and troubadour Beans On Toast (Friday); West Mids legends Dexys, BRIT Award nominated CMAT, The Staves and Birmingham’s own rising star Katherine Priddy (Saturday); Glasgow’s enduring Belle and Sebastian (pictured), folk doyen Kate Rusby, Tuareg guitarist and songwriter Mdou Moctar, and Ireland’s Lisa O’Neill (Sunday).

Other artists appearing across the three days include Dawn Landes, with her highly acclaimed Liberated Woman’s Songbook; Bess Atwell, whose recent Real Kind album was produced by The National’s Aaron Dressner; Hejia’s celebration of Joni Mitchell’s unrivalled catalogue; Dublin quartet The Scratch; and Jack White-approved duo, The Smoke Fairies.

Elsewhere, historian Carl Chinn reveals more about the real Peaky Blinders; CBeebies hero Nick Cope ensures younger festival-goers are thoroughly entertained; rediscovered folk icon Vashti Bunyan chats about her remarkable life; and musician Helen O’Hara looks back at her time with Dexys Midnight Runners. Plus comedians Mark Steel, Zoe Lyons and Lindsey Santoro, and much more.

There’s also a range of ‘kid-friendly’ activities available over the weekend too, including Dead Pixels Gaming Caravan, Maypole Dancing, face painting and glitter, Fox Cub Nature Play Club, storytelling, and workshops dedicated to graffiti, woodwork, weaving, spinning and mask-making.

Just added to the main stage bills are indie folk duo Memorial (who are signed to Communion – home to Bess Atwell and The Staves, as well as Catfish and The Bottlemen and Lucy Rose); Northallerton singer-songwriter (and Katherine Priddy collaborator) George Boomsma; and Liverpool native Bobby West, who is recipient of the Janice Long Hello You! Bursary 2024.

● NEW: Moonshine Collective Industry Programme
As part of the Moonshine Collective Industry Programme, Moseley Folk has offered valued stage time to four new artists currently studying at BIMM Birmingham: Ollie Cook, Leah Wilcox, Wooden Dog and Luca Simian.
