New band to play Sunflower Lounge.
Newcastle trio The Pale White have announced a new EP A New Breed, slated for release on 20th October via AWAL, plus a run of headline UK shows including Birmingham’s Sunflower Lounge this Saturday, 9th December.
With its stadium-sized riffs and infectious melodies front and centre, Validate Me is the sound of a band breathing new life into British rock’n’roll. As the band says, “Validate Me explores the mental tug of war between following your true purpose, and conforming to what society thinks you should be. It was born during the pandemic when we all lost our social identity and this heightened self-sabotaging paranoia was just as contagious.”
Taking their time to write, record and practise the new material, brothers Adam and Jack Hope (guitar/vocals and drums, respectively) and bassist Dave Barrow spent much of 2022 realigning themselves before a slew of European performances exemplified the reignited sparks on stage. Returning to the UK to show it off at two sold- out hometown headliners, reintroduce themselves properly and share their first music in almost two years, recent single ‘How Far Can You Push A Man?’ truly declared The Pale White’s rebirth.
With a sustainable approach to rock’n’roll uncovered, the band’s new music fires up a new era that will see them releasing music and touring through to next year, with a stretch of UK dates just confirmed for December 2023.
