Everyone’s favourite festive rockers return for December date.
You know Christmas is coming when Slade announce a new tour. Without doubt one of the most exciting bands of the past fifty years, their unique blend of perfect pop rock’n’roll, outrageous flamboyance and pure fun gave them six UK number ones and 23 top twenty smashes, including arguably the most famous Christmas pop song of them all – the platinum-selling Merry Christmas Everybody, first released in 1973 and a festive chart regular ever since.
After all this time Slade have continued to tour the world. They are firm favourites on the lucrative German festival scene and undertake an annual UK Merry Christmas Everybody tour in December. They have a huge following of fans and regularly play throughout Europe.
Led by founder member Dave Hill on guitar with John Berry who joined in 2003 on bass, Slade today are still one of the most exciting bands on the road, and their stage performance is a dynamic, powerful and exhilarating roller-coaster ride of pure unadulterated rock’n’roll.
Delayed from last year due to lockdown, their 2021 tour will see Slade performing on Saturday 18th December at the Asylum in Hockley. Tickets.
