Family golf centre aiming to make pastime accessible for all.
Treetop Adventure Golf in the Bullring is ready to roll with its brand new Quiet Sessions, which have been designed to welcome guests who prefer a calmer environment. Launching nationwide from August 8th, the inclusive sessions will take place on the second Sunday of each month between 9am-11am and are suitable for all ages.
During the Quiet Sessions, each Treetop venue will turn off its sound effects and music across the venue including the lobby area, toilets and The Market. The venue will also reduce its background noise, interactive effects, and any strobe lighting across its two indoor 18-hole mini golf courses, to help create a tranquil journey through the jungle for its guests.
Commenting on the launch of Treetop’s Quiet Sessions, General Manager of Treetop Adventure Golf Birmingham, James Scott, says: “We’re so pleased to be launching our Quiet Sessions. It’s important that all guests feel welcome at Treetop, so we’re really proud to be taking this next step in making our jungle accessible for everyone. Our Quiet Sessions are open to all guests and there’s no need to book in advance – you can just turn up and tee off.”
With multiple locations across the UK in Cardiff, Manchester and Leicester, Treetop Adventure Golf has most recently opened its newest premises within the heart of Bullring and Grand Central following a £2.4 million investment. As well as introducing Quiet Sessions, each Treetop Adventure Golf site is also wheelchair-friendly and suitable for golfers of all ages and abilities.
“From reducing our sound effects, music and lighting levels to admitting fewer guests, we’re confident that our Quiet Sessions will be a great way for more people to experience the magic of Treetop than ever before!
“Plus, we’re always looking for ways to be more inclusive to suit the needs of our guests and can’t wait to explore other ways that we can adapt the Treetop experience accordingly in the coming weeks and months,” James added.
Despite lockdown restrictions easing, visitor and staff safety remains a top priority for Treetop Adventure Golf. Each site will be retaining and reimplementing several key safety measures, including hand sanitiser stations throughout the jungle, fewer people for more space, and contactless-only payments. They’ll also be on the ball with extra cleaning, with freshly scrubbed clubs and balls for every golfer.
