100,000 students and second office for Open Study College.
Following a period of significant growth, including its 100,000th student milestone, Open Study College has invested in a second office near its existing West Midlands headquarters.
The 2,122 square foot new office, which opened this month, is part of the company’s ongoing ambitious expansion plans and a result of growing student numbers, which has also seen the staff team increasing following a number of key appointments.
The new site will house a state-of-the-art printing and production facility designed to improve the quality of the education provider’s course materials, as well as additional office space to be used for its expanding workforce and further initiatives under way to continue to meet the ever changing needs of students.
An award-winning distance learning provider, Open Study College was launched thirteen years ago by father and daughter team Mark Rutter and CEO Samantha Rutter (pictured), along with other members of the family.
Based at its head office in Solihull, near Birmingham, its sole aim is to make learning accessible to all. With more than 650 distance learning courses, across a broad spectrum of subjects, the business has gone from strength to strength.
CEO Samantha Rutter commented: “So much has changed in the last year, but for us as a business thankfully it has been a prosperous time, with people looking to retrain and upskill during the pandemic. Our second office means that we can continue to keep up with the growing demand and increased appetite for flexible learning, and even better serve our students in the future.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team and how they have supported one another and the business through this uncertain and busy period and we’re excited to use this second office as a fresh space to come together once more as soon as we can.”
