Free re-string and cuppa, as store opens doors to high street performers across the country.
To mark the end of Busker Week, Birmingham’s guitarguitar store is inviting local guitarists to unwind in their shop on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July while they restring their instruments – all they have to do is play a song.
Busker Week, running Monday 15th until Sunday 21st July, is part of the music retailer’s fifteenth anniversary celebrations, with fifteen weeks of in-store pop-ups, promotions and giveaways across their six UK stores.
From Corstorphine to Camden, all six guitarguitar stores are offering to restring their instruments, throwing in a cuppa for good measure to soothe their worn-out vocal chords and tired fingers after a long week of performing.
Until 15th September, customers have a chance to win stellar prizes including a guitar by signed Noel Gallagher and a gift card worth £15,00. The Birmingham store can be found at 104 Hagley Rd, Birmingham B16 8LT.
Steve Mills, store manager of guitarguitar Birmingham, said: “We think buskers are the real rock stars – playing for hours every day on our high streets, whatever the weather – which is why we’re always thrilled to support them any way we can.
“As we turn 15, we’re thrilled to invite them to our Birmingham store to relax after another busy Busker Week.”
