Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council has confirmed the full City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra programme for Concerts in the Park 2019 and it promises classics and hits from blockbuster films and musicals guaranteed to get Concert goers on their feet, dancing and singing along on Saturday 29th June.
The annual highlight of the Royal Town’s summer calendar, Concerts in the Park is a chance to enjoy exceptional music, fine food and a glass or two of bubbly in the glorious surroundings of Sutton Park. Tickets are available here
CBSO, one of the world’s greatest orchestras, will be joined by conductor Michael Seal who has brought his energy and enthusiasm to the finest Orchestras across the UK and internationally. Returning to Concerts in the Park for the second time, Michael will take the audience on a musical adventure from Defying Gravity to I Dreamed a Dream with a rousing end to the open-air concert once again with Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No 1 followed by C. Hubert H. Parry’s Jerusalem. The programme is perfect for all ages.
Joining Michael and the orchestra on stage is acclaimed British musical theatre actress Louise Dearman. Louise is widely known for her many performances in London’s West End, UK national tours and the international concert arena; bringing her amazing vocals and theatrical wonder to Sutton Park.
