Arcadian to get hot, hot, hot in July.
The Latin American Festival, Birmingham’s most popular annual Latin event, is here once again. The festival promises a lively day full of music, dance and amigos with a carnival atmosphere that will bring the Arcadian alive with true Latin spirit.
This year the Latin American Festival celebrates its 23rd anniversary and will be held on Sunday 1st July at the Arcadian Centre, Southside, Birmingham from 11.00am till 7.00pm. The event is free to the public.
The Festival has become a unique event in the city and is founded by Peruvian Annie Bazán-De-Fisher, who is also an international cultural award winner. It is the most established and recognised Latin Festival in the UK and is solely organised by ABS Latin Promotions, a voluntary and non-profit cultural organisation.
The Festival will introduce authentic Latin entertainment bringing a colourful and vibrant atmosphere to the city of Birmingham. Authentic Latin Bands and performers will entertain the crowds throughout the day.
There will also be carnival dancers delivering the famous Samba shows from Brazil and dancing from Mexico as well as the Rumba Cuban dance show. Bachata and Salsa workshops will make the public feel hot, hot, hot while the passion of Argentina will be presented by an incredible Tango Show.
There will also be Zumba workshops and La Conga, Salsa and Limbo dance competitions will enable everyone to have fun. Stalls of handicrafts, food, drinks will also be available on the day.
This will be a unique opportunity not only to learn about the Latin American culture but also to share a great day in a friendly, colourful and happy atmosphere.
