Great Western Arcade exhibits its latest independent retailer.
Great Western Arcade, the unique shopping and lifestyle destination in the heart of Birmingham, has welcomed its latest independent retailer, Paul Horton Fine Art Gallery.
Following the success of its first pop-up in December 2017, father and son Paul and Mark Horton have returned to the arcade and re-opened the gallery as a permanent tenant, now based at No.30.
To celebrate the official launch of the gallery on Saturday 12th May, everyone is invited to visit the new gallery and preview some of Paul’s new work, complete with a glass of fizz. Visitors will also get the chance to meet the artist himself between 11am-5pm.
James Roberts, Centre Manager at Great Western Arcade, said: “We are thrilled to have Paul Horton Fine Art Gallery join us and are so pleased that they have chosen Great Western Arcade to open their first gallery. Paul Horton has a fantastic exhibit that brings something different to the arcade and contributes to a unique shopping experience for our visitors.”
Gallery founder Paul Horton added: “Great Western Arcade is a top destination for an individual and creative shopping experience, and we are so pleased to call it our new home. We would like to thank James and his team for the on-going support in our new venture and we look forward to a bright future.”
Paul has been painting and exhibiting his art for over forty years; his work contains strong narrative elements drawing inspiration from everyday life. The gallery is open 10am-6pm Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-5pm Sunday. For more information, visit www.greatwesternarcade.co.uk or search Great Western Arcade on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
