Blues rocking legends will soon be playing at the Robin 2.
On Monday 23rd January a local favourite returns to the Robin.
Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes’ calling card. He’s known as a singer’s singer. Stevie Wonder once called Hughes his favourite white singer.
A native of Cannock, Glenn first came to prominence with blues rock band Trapeze before joining Deep Purple in 1973. Since then he has played with legendary names, toured the world and recorded, both solo and with bands such as Black Country Communion and his latest project, California Bred.
