Ringing the bell for local independents.
On Tuesday 8th November Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter will play host to the Small Business Saturday bus. As part of its 29-stop tour of the country, the Small Business Saturday bus will be parking up on the Golden Square, in Vyse Street between 10am–2pm; the only Birmingham stop on the tour.
Small Business Saturday, an annual event which seeks to raise awareness and support for local independent companies, will be taking place on Saturday 3rd December. The bus tours the UK, putting on a number of activities and workshops, as well as exhibiting some of the small businesses in the local area, in order to raise awareness for the main event.
Luke Crane, manager of the Jewellery Quarter BID, added: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the Small Business Saturday bus to the Jewellery Quarter this year, and hope that business owners, residents and visitors alike will come and find out more information, ready for the main event on Saturday 3rd December.
“Not only is the Quarter home to numerous jewellers, but there is an enormous range of independent shops showcasing products crafted by amazingly talented individuals. With so much more hidden behind every corner, and we can’t wait for everyone to discover how vibrant the area really is, and support their local independents on Small Business Saturday this December.”
