Orchestra and Trigon Pensions partner for another three years.
Trigon Pensions has announced its continued commitment to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra by renewing its position as Gold Partner in a three year deal.
David Gascoigne, Managing Director Trigon Pensions said: “We are absolutely delighted to be supporting the CBSO at this time. The CBSO is a world-class orchestra showcasing artistic excellence to the rest of the world, and its exceptional education and community programme provides creative and exciting ways for children and adults to engage with live music.
“As a business with clients across the UK, it is beneficial for Trigon to be aligned with the CBSO’s international brand and reputation. We know that our partnership over the next three years will help this outstanding orchestra continue the work that is doing, whilst providing tangible business benefits for us.”
Trigon celebrated the start of the three year partnership by hosting clients and other guests at the CBSO’s recent concert with the internationally renowned violinist Nicola Benedetti.
Stephen Maddock, CBSO Chief Executive, said: “We are extremely pleased to have Trigon Pensions on board with us as a partner for the next three years. Our private funders are more important than ever in maintaining the international reputation of the CBSO following recent cuts which have seen our public funding reduced by 32% in real terms since 2010. These relationships are vital, and we would not exist without the generous support from corporate partners, private donors and other funders.
“We hope that Trigon will see many benefits from their support, which will enable us to continue contributing to the region’s cultural life and local economy, as well as supporting our work with schools, universities and communities. We also hope they have enjoyed the recent concert with Nicola Benedetti, and we look forward to the future musical experiences that this partnership offers.”
