BullRun networking event returns to Birmingham

Children’s charity to benefit from business occasion.

A business networking event that organisers claim has revolutionised the way businesses come together to create worthwhile relationships is being held in Birmingham, on 2nd July 2015, for the seventh successive year.

The Birmingham BullRun, created by the Mercantile Club, a Birmingham-based business networking and support group, will give like-minded business people the opportunity to be part of one of the most unusual networking events of the year.

The event will see businessmen and women, from over 200 businesses, visiting four city centre bars in what will be Birmingham’s largest business pub crawl. Ticket holders will enjoy a free drink in each bar before being served food in the final hostelry.

Named after the world famous San Fermin (Bull Run) festival, that takes place in the Spanish city of Pamplona, in July each year, the Birmingham BullRun will take place on Thursday 2nd July 2015.

Tickets are priced at £45 per person or £400 for a team of ten.

Participants will also be issued with BullRun apparel to mark them out from the crowd. The fun starts for revellers at 5:00pm and will run until late.

This year’s event will also raise funds for Caudwell Children, the national charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.

Kerrie Davies, Events Manager at Caudwell Children said: “This is the BullRuns seventh year and it’s simply the best way to socialise and do business that I can think of. It’s a really fun environment where people can have a great night out, whilst meeting lots of new business people at the same time. It certainly beats the soggy bacon sandwiches to be had at early morning breakfast networking events! ”

Organisers say that they are hoping to raise a minimum of £5,000 for Caudwell Children, through a series of raffles held throughout the evening.
