Ammalife Charity Backed by Close Harmony Evening

from our news desk

The medical charity  Ammalife invites you to a choral concert  in Birmingham which will not only give you great pleasure but help raise cash for its international work.

The charity, which is based in the city and is officially sponsored by this website, will receive cash for each ticket sold for the performance in the city’s cathedral.

Singing  on Thursday evening,  27th March will be The Kings Men-  a group of Choral Scholars from Kings College, Cambridge.

Each year they squeeze in national and international tours and a recording schedule alongside their studies. They sing a mix of folk and popular songs from the last 500 years called  “a luxurious blend of voices”  by The Times. It will be their first visit to Birmingham and the music takes in everything from Byrd to Broadway

The evening, which begins at 7.30 pm at St Philips Cathedral  is organised by the city’s Lunar Society which has gifted a portion of each sale to Ammalife to help carry out maternal care projects around the world.

A spokesman for the charity said: ‘We know there are many music lovers among our supporters so we were thrilled when the Lunar Society adopted Ammalife as their charity partner for this very special event.’

Tickets are £15 and £12 (including interval refreshments). Contact    kingsmen@lunarsociety.org.uk  for purchase. Download the details and booking form by clicking here: 14 Flyer+booking 2-side A4
