Witnesses sought to incident near Coventry Road.
Police have launched an investigation after two men were admitted to hospital in Birmingham with stab injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers became aware of the incident at around 1.30pm when they stopped a speeding vehicle on its way to hospital. An injured man was found in the car and was then rushed to hospital with serious injuries. A second man also then attended hospital having suffered a stab wound. Both men are believed to be aged in their 20s and are in a stable condition.
Police have cordoned off part of Coventry Road in Digbeth as part of the enquiry.
Detective Inspector Harry Harrison, from Force CID, said: “We are in the early stages of this investigation and officers are trawling through CCTV and speaking to local people who may have witnessed what happened. There would have been a number of people in the area at the time and we would ask them to come forward and contact us as soon as possible.”
