Today sees the last  chance to take a  look at  Birmingham through the eye  of a  photographer who still uses black and white neg film to grab angular and  offbeat images of the city.

Neal Martin Williams’ exhibition has been running since earlier  in the month grabbing positive reviews about his use of light and framing, whether it be portraits or landscape. Here’s one example, a dog, the owner’s legs and, somewhere, a story:

St Patrick's Day Parade

What makes many of his other pictures  stand out is that many of the scenes are sometimes vaguely recognisable, almost dream-like as his monochrome eye finds angles and perspectives that allows you to look twice before identifying it.

The exhibition, upstairs at the Old Print Works has been extended because of its popularity. It will close Sunday night at 8pm
