Buying train tickets on the go has just got a whole lot easier, with the launch of London Midland’s new mobile ticketing website.

The ‘ticket office in your pocket’ allows customers to plan and securely book their journeys on any mobile device, all at the touch of a button. As well as the ease and flexibility of purchasing on the go, users will be able to search for the cheapest available fares and can take advantage of saved recent searches.
Once booked, tickets can be collected from any station’s self-service ticket machine by tapping in a unique reference number.
The booking function can be accessed through the London Midland mobile website and the company’s popular iPhone App, which recently celebrated its 100,000th download.
London Midland’s Head of Marketing, David Whitley, said, “Every day, thousands of passengers use London Midland’s mobile website and iPhone App to plan their journeys on the move. Being able to buy tickets at the same time simply makes things even easier”.
To access the new mobile booking platform users should log-on to www.londonmidland.com/mobile/buy-tickets/ from their mobile device, or download London Midland’s official iPhone app.
