Regular comedy club at The Public, The Laughing Sole, is to take a special Edinburgh twist this July.
On Wednesday 4 July, Paul Kerensa and regular compère, Barbara Nice, will each be performing hour long sets, in preparation for their appearances at this August’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Cornish comic, Paul Kerensa, is renowned for delivering rip roaring one-liners that prove that you don’t have to be edgy to be funny. Having helped co-write BBC’s Not Going Out and worked on scripts for the BAFTA nominated, Miranda, Paul is no stranger to the big time.
The Laughing Sole’s regular compere Barbara Nice has been wowing audiences up and down the country with her down to earth nature and hilarious approach to life. The huggable housewife will be bringing her affectionate banter and uplifting persona to the West Bromwich arts centre, in what promises to be an evening of fun, feel-good entertainment.
The Laughing Sole Comedy Club – Edinburgh Special, takes place at The Public on Wednesday 4 July at 8pm. Tickets are £8.50 advanced, £9.50 on the door and are available via www.thepublic.com or by calling 0121 533 7161.
