Motorway police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward following a fatal collision on the M54 over the festive period.
Mark Taylor-McKail, from Wolverhampton, died following the collision on Friday 30th December. The incident happened at around 2:55pm on the westbound carriageway between junctions two and three, near Wolverhampton.
Mr Taylor, aged 38, was pronounced dead at the scene and a male passenger in the vehicle, a yellow Renault Megane sport, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
Officers from the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG), supported by Staffordshire Police, are investigating the incident and anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact CMPG on 0121 626 1285.
