The week ahead in Leamington.

Wednesday sees the It Bites/Mostly Autumn double header arriving in Leamington.

Both bands have new material to promote – It Bites from their new album Map of the Pat, and Mostly Autumn their as-yet untitled release scheduled for early next year. With It Bites also celebrating 25 years since the release of their Big Lad in the Windmill album, this promises to be a prog double bill to savour. Tickets £20.

Thursday sees two-tone inspired hip hop DJ Mr Scruff performing a set of deck wizardry and animation. Tickets £9.

On Friday there’s a pre-Halloween special of the Assembly club Cortina Nights, with tickets (£5) available by phoning 01926 838 815 and proceeds going to Myton Hospice.

Coming up soon at the Assembly are former Fairground Attraction Eddie Reader (1^st November), eighties jazz funkers Imagination (4^th November) and controversial drug dealer turned writer Howard Marks (6^th November).
