Leamington Spa’s award-winning Assembly will be playing host to a special music event on Friday, 15th July. Behind the event is the Hits, the UK’s biggest commercial digital radio station.

Future Hits Live will showcase the station’s hottest tips for the summer of 2011 –  Wretch 32, Her Majesty & The Wolves, Soundgirl, Talay Riley, Six D and Oh My! The event at Leamington will be the first in a number of intimate gigs showcasing new pop acts at different venues across the country.

Fresh from his recent hit Unorthodox with Example, Wretch 32 is already signed up to play at this year’s Glastonbury, Wireless Festival and Ibiza Rocks.  His debut single Traktor hit number five in the charts and an album will follow later this year.

Former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt will be fronting her act Her Majesty & The Wolves. With two UK number ones and 11 top 20 singles under her belt, this will be one of the most intimate shows Kimberley has played in years.

At 20 years old Talay Riley already has a number one to his name after co-writing Oopsy Daisy for Chipmunk as well as tracks for Jessie J, JLS and Tinie Tempah. Now turning his hand to performing Talay releases Make You Mine in August.

British trio Soundgirl are all under 17 and have already supported Justin Bieber on tour.

Priority Jive act Six D are a combination of street dance and slick pop music and have performed on stage with Madonna, The Saturdays and JLS. They’re currently working with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s choreographer to perfect the routines they’ll bring to Future Hits Live. Their first single Best Damn Night is released in July.

Oh My! is made up of two friends from school, Alex and Jade. Protégés of Example, Future Hits Live will be their first public performance.
