Wednesday sees American alternative rockers Spin Doctors take to the stage. It’s now twenty years since their multi-platinum winning debut Pocketful of Kryptonite was released and to celebrate the anniversary the band are touring and playing the album in its entirety. To say that the band work together sporadically is an understatement so this is a rare chance to see them play live. Tickets £17.50.
Talking of anniversaries, it’s now fifty years since the Zombies started out. Although they never gained the mass acclaim some of their British Invasion predecessors enjoyed, many bands now regard them as a seminal influence and with their set bolstered by a few classic Argent anthems and some of Colin Blunstone’s solo work they can always be relied on for a good night. They’re at the Assembly on Friday. Tickets £17.50.
