Watch, listen and get involved at the Artrix Arts Centre in Bromsgrove.

He’s a little slimmer but that won’t stop funny man Justin Moorhouse giving the crowds at Artrix a few belly laughs this Saturday.

In his new show People and Feelings he tackles the subject of people he knows and how he feels about them in his hilarious and inimitable style.

Justin has appeared on numerous TV shows including Live at the Apollo and Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights. He was a regular presenter on Key 103 for over a decade and is still very active on radio. Justin has written and starred in two series of his own Radio 4 sitcom Everyone Quite Likes Justin and often pops up on The News Quiz on Radio 4,

One of the most horrific moments of the Falklands War was the bombing of the RFA Sir Galahad by two Argentinian planes.

On board was Simon Weston whose life-changing injuries resulted in some of the most memorable images of the war. Despite suffering 46% burns, he survived and on Saturday 28th January he will be telling his life story to audiences at Artrix.

Simon Weston: My Life, My Story is an inspirational show about one man’s battle to survive against the odds.

Following a memorable 2016, which included the launch of Bromsgrove’s first Drive-In cinema and winning the award for Best Small Theatre/Arts Venue in Worcestershire in the What’s On Reader’s Awards, Artrix Arts Centre in Bromsgrove is looking for people who want to be part of its success story.

Volunteers are needed to join its dedicated volunteer workforce to help run front of house, meeting and greeting, ushering audience members, taking collections in the foyer and bar work.

Richard Weaver, Artrix’s Volunteer Co-Ordinator said: “Artrix is a busy and thriving venue and we’re looking for friendly, reliable people who are willing to support our team of Duty Managers and take on a variety of voluntary roles. It’s a great chance for someone to learn a range of different skills and make new friends.”
