Millennium Point, the multi-purpose venue in the heart of Eastside district, has been chosen as a key partner to host the Midlands annual celebration, Birmingham Made Me: Birmingham Made Me Expo and SmART Marts.

For the second year running, Millennium Point will play a key role as partner and host to the event which highlights the design-led manufacturing capabilities and achievements originating in the region.

Philip Singleton, CEO of Millennium Point, says: “Birmingham has a rich history of innovation, manufacturing and design and we are delighted to be a key partner and host for the second year running.

“The event is a chance for students to meet businesses and develop collaborative projects with them. We want people to get involved in the campaign and share and celebrate the skills, innovation and creativity that drive the UK’s premier manufacturing region.”

This year, the event will focus on making way for a more sustainable, better connected and smarter future. Split into six exhibition zones; Arts & Crafts, Media & Production, Tech & Digital, Industrial and Consumer, Smart Ideas and International, attendees can see a range of demonstrations, performances and displays which showcase the region’s innovation and success in business.
