Artrix at Christmas

More family festive festivities.

If you’re planning a group outing with friends, colleagues or family this Christmas then Artrix is the place to be.

Panto is always popular with families and All and Sundry’s production of Aladdin, which runs from 17th to 21st December looks set to be one of their best yet and features a spectacular UV flying carpet scene

From 10th to 12th December Heart of Worcestershire College present their annual Christmas show with A Nutcracker Christmas – a tale of magic and discovery.

Continuing with the festive theme, in All On a Winter’s Night on 12th December Johnny Coppin, Paul Burgess and Dik Cadbury will be presenting a rich mix of traditional carols and new songs together with new stories and traditional folklore from all over the UK.

Ballet fans will love Alice in Wonderland. A trip to see this spectacular live Royal Opera House screening on 22nd December would make an ideal Christmas outing.

Later in the month, the world’s most famous Peruvian bear comes to the big screen. Paddington the movie is a delight and fans of this furry favourite from the Michael Bond books won’t be disappointed.

Another treat for the little ones is The Book of Life: a vibrant fantasy-adventure which tells the legend of Manolo, a conflicted hero and dreamer. Youngsters aged 3-12 are also invited to take part in some Festive Drop In Craft on the morning of 22nd December.

After Christmas you can join Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, as he and his sidekick, Snout the Rat, are whisked off by three ghosts. With songs, dance, and a turkey full of magic, this is one Christmas with a twist Yule never forget.

You can also beat the January blues with Santa In Love. This fun filled family musical is complete with games, giggles and all your favourite Christmas songs.
