Belgrade welcomes all star cast in Agatha Christie drama

Following the success of And Then There Were None, Witness for the Prosecution and most recently Verdict, the Agatha Christie Theatre Company is bringing its production of Murder on the Nile to the Belgrade Theatre’s Main Stage from Mon 8 to Sat 13 October.

Arguably one of Agatha Christie’s most popular plays, Murder on the Nile was adapted from the book Death on the Nile and opened on Broadway and the West End in 1946.

The story follows Simon Mostyn and his wealthy socialite wife as they begin their honeymoon on board a steamer, cruising under the Egyptian sun. Tragedy strikes when a body is discovered. But with everything not what it seems, an elaborate web of intrigue and deceit develops as cleric Canon Pennefather finds himself drawn into the trail of a ruthless murderer.

Murder on the Nile features an all star cast including Kate O’Mara, star of TV hits Dynasty and Bad Girls, Susie Amy, star of 71 Degrees North and Footballers’ Wives, Robert Duncan from Drop the Dead Donkey, Ben Nealon from Soldier Soldier and ‘60s pop idol Mark Wynter.

Tickets for Murder on the Nile are available now from the Box Office on 024 7655 3055 priced from £15.75 to £30 or via www.belgrade.co.uk where cheaper tickets are available.
