The company treated staff at its Fort Dunlop office to cakes and champagne to thank them for their hard work over the past two years since the business was set up in 2010.

Skillsfirst Awards works with training providers, further education colleges, employers and learners to develop qualifications across a wide range of sectors including retail, health and social care, and hospitality and catering. The organisation has also played a key role in the development of apprenticeships, working with a number of national businesses to offer a range of qualifications to new and existing staff.

Managing Director Myra Wall said: “It is a great accomplishment to be celebrating two successful years in business. It’s been wonderful to see so many companies wanting to invest in training and in their employees, even though budgets are tight.

“Our team is extremely knowledgeable and understands the sectors that we are working in, which is clearly a benefit to our customers. We are also very flexible and work with our customers to ensure all of our courses are tailored to their needs.”

Since opening in 2010 Skillsfirst Awards has picked up a wealth of well-known regional and national clients, including Bournville College, Busy Bees Children’s Nurseries, Allied Healthcare and Key Training.
