Zumbatomic – Zumba for Kids

Youngsters encouraged to get fit while having fun throughout the summer break.

A fun-filled fitness class specifically designed for youngsters will be taking place at The Public throughout the summer.

On 21 and 28 July, 4 and 11 August, Black Country fitness company, Zumba-Rellas, will be bringing ‘Zumbatomic – Zumba for Kids’ to the West Bromwich venue – a dance-fitness program designed exclusively for kids and pre-teens ages 4-11.

The hour long child friendly Zumba sessions, will provide youngsters with the opportunity to learn cool dance steps and routines, throw some funky  shapes, and listen to groovy upbeat music whilst having bags full of fun and laughter along the way.

The Public’s ever popular Zumba classes take place every Thursday evening at 6.30pm.  The Latin inspired fitness class that incorporates international music and dance movements, to create a dynamic, exciting and effective work out, fuses a variety styles and routines including Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, and Bhangra/Belly Dance to get the body pumping.

Linda Saunders, Managing Director at The Public, “Zumbatomic is a great way for children to keep fit whilst having great amounts of fun at the same time.  Our regular Zumba sessions have been incredibly well attended since launching in summer 2010, so we fully expect the Zumba for kids to be equally as popular”

Zumbatomic – Zumba for Kids will take place at The Public On 21 and 28 July, 4 and 11 August  from 10.30am – 11.30am.
