This critically acclaimed play is a brand new adaptation of Arthur Ransome’s much loved novel, Swallows and Amazons – a story of summer evenings and youthful imagination from an idyllic era.

The story follows Captain John and his able crew as they board The Swallow and set sail to Wildcat Island on an exotic adventure to encounter savages, capture dastardly pirates and defeat mortal enemies.

The show has been directed by Tom Morris, who also co-directed the international smash-hit War Horse, the book has been adapted by award-winning playwright, Helen Edmundson and the music has been written by Neil Hannon from hit pop band The Divine Comedy.

Swallows and Amazons is recommended for ages 6+.
