Have your say on local transport

The West Midlands Campaign for Better Transport have issued an invitation to ‘have your say’ in Birmingham at the forthcoming LibDem conference.

They write…

Fed up of poor bus services, fare increases and cuts to timetables and local authority support?

Campaign for Better Transport has a campaign bus at the Lib Dem Conference in Central Birmingham next week.   We want to give bus passengers a platform to tell MPs exactly how important buses are to them. So we are taking a double decker campaign bus to all of the three big party conferences, and we are inviting bus passengers to come on board and make sure their voices are heard.

The campaign bus will be in Victoria Square in the city centre, outside the Council House on Monday 19th September 2011 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.  The venue is outside of the “secure zone” of the conference so you won’t need a pass.    If you want to come along you are more than welcome and we would particularly pleased to hear examples of bus service cutbacks, however if you could fill in this form:

Look forward to seeing as many as possible of you on Monday and please spread the word.
