Foodies can rejoice as Brindleyplace is launching its first ever food festival this September, with the theme foods from around the world, meaning guests to the estate can tuck in to anything from Sri Lankan curries to Spanish tapas, American burgers and much, much more.
Taking place in Central Square from 11am on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September, the festival, is due to surprise and delight visitors more than ever before. Tickle your taste buds with foods from around the world at the food market, watch the experts in action at the mobile cookery theatre, or just take a seat and enjoy a host of entertainment throughout the festival.
Ever wondered how your favourite foods are made? During the festival, visitors can see the chefs in action at the food demo kitchen which will be located in Oozlles Square. See how the perfect pizza is made, take a peek behind the kitchen doors of fine dining, or be amazed by the theatrics of cocktail making – you may even get to sample some if it!
While tucking in to all the tasty food on offer, Brindleyplace’s charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities UK will be inviting visitors to help celebrate its 30th birthday with a party packed with fun-filled activities to raise much-needed funds and awareness. You may even be treated to a piece of birthday cake!

Visitors can expect a whole host of foodie delights in our food market, while making the most of the live music and entertainment we have planned. As a charity, our aim is to keep families together when a child is seriously ill in hospital and we are so excited to be able to celebrate our 30th Anniversary in the UK at this event.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK supports families while their child receives care and treatment in a specialist children’s hospital, by giving them a warm and welcoming place to rest their heads, just a moment away from their child. Over the last 30 years they have helped nearly 50,000 families during some of the toughest periods in their lives.
