Comedy night aims to raise money for homeless charity

BCU students to present a night for St Basil’s.

The BCU Affluent Aura events team are currently on their way to complete their mission of raising awareness of youth homelessness.

On Wednesday 3rd April they will be holding a comedy night at Stirling’s Bar, Ludgate Hill, Birmingham in order to raise as much money as possible in aid of the St.Basil’s charity. We’re inviting you to come and have a laugh with your family, friends or colleagues, with the aim to help reduce youth homelessness.

St Basils are a charity that support young people aged 16-25, who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They currently help over 5,000 young people a year across the West Midlands region. With your help that number could rise dramatically and more young individuals could get the help they so badly need.

With doors on the night opening at 7:30 pm, the action will kick off at 8:00 pm. The evening will consist of a number of local acts from throughout Birmingham performing short comedy sketches. There will also be a raffle on the night, with prizes donated from many big household names, and the opportunity to buy snacks and light refreshments.

Tickets retail at £10.49 (including entry, a welcome drink of prosecco as well as entry into one of our raffle draws on the night) each and can be bought here
