A team from BCTG delivered £500 worth of toys to children and staff at the hospice in Walstead Road, Walsall, yesterday.

Among the gifts was an X Box 360 and wireless controllers, which can be taken around the wards for all to use as well as bags full of sensory toys.

Jo Robb, from BCTG, based in Taylors Lane, Oldbury, said the company had donated the gifts after asking Acorns staff to send them a Christmas toy wish list.

“Christmas really is about giving,” said Mrs Robb, “and we could not think of a more worthwhile cause than Acorns Children’s Hospice. We are sure the children and their families who use the toys will get a lot of enjoyment out of them.”

Amanda Cox, from Acorns, said: “It is a very kind Christmas gift and we are thrilled that BCTG took the time out to deliver all these toys to us so that children and their families who use the hospice can make the most of them.”
