What’s On at the Assembly?

Not many guitars, seems to be the answer.

Tuesday sees the multi-talented Professor Green at the Assembly. A protege of Mike Skinner and one of the UK’s top freestyler/rappers, he has worked with many big names including Lily Allen, had a recent number one single and his new album At Your Inconvenience was released in October. Tickets sold out.

On Wednesday there’s a chance to see eighties icon Gary Numan. After influencing the decade’s penchant for synthesisers, Numan has spent much of the intervening periods doing everything from writing film scores to flying aeroplanes. His recent album Dead Son Rising was his first for five years. Tickets £22.50

Total Stone RosesThere’s a tribute act with a difference on Friday, when the Total Stone Roses are supported by a DJ set from the original band’s Bez, who later joins them onstage. Tickets £12.50.
