Villa star Jacob Ramsey helps launch new Bullring restaurant.
Toca Social, the world’s first and only immersive football and dining experience currently based in London, has announced it will be launching its second UK site in Birmingham’s Bullring from June 2024.
Toca Social invites Birmingham to Eat, Drink and Score, as it combines immersive football-based gaming with a five-star food and drink offering. Guests can book a private playing box for up to 12 players, with prices starting at £12 per person. Choosing from a variety of interactive games, enabled by innovative ball delivery and tracking technology, TOCA Social bridges the physical and digital worlds in a way never seen before. Each of the five games has been designed for all ages, abilities, and football interests, so that everyone can have fun together.
To mark the announcement, Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey took to the streets of Birmingham to film his football skills. The video of Ramsey features the Library of Birmingham, Victoria Square, The Bull outside the Bullring concluding at the brand-new Toca Social venue.
Toca Social’s fun and creative food menu has been designed to complement and enhance the games’ experience, offering sharing dishes so good that friends will come even if they are not playing the game. Toca drinks are based around classic cocktails with innovative new serves backed up by a full bar offering.
Taking occupancy in the site previously home to Debenhams, Toca Social Birmingham will feature 23 interactive football boxes and 4 bars across 2 floors, becoming one of the city’s largest competitive socialising experiences. The venue will be open seven days a week and times will vary*. Packages can be found for a variety of occasions, including corporate events, special occasions, screening events and festive parties.
Founded in 2016 by two-time U.S World Cup and former MLS and English Premier League midfielder, Eddie Lewis, Toca first made its UK debut in August 2021 in London’s TO2, and has since found a name for itself as a leading hospitality experience in the capital.
Alex Harman, President at Toca Social, said, “We’re thrilled to finally announce that Tocs Social will be officially opening in Birmingham this summer. Birmingham is not only a fantastic city for football, but is also famed for its culturally rich and diverse hospitality scene, so it felt only right to launch our second site there.”
