Millennium Point announces Halloween screenings

Halloween entertainment for all the family at Millennium Point’s Giant Scream.

Millennium Point is bringing a series of spooktacular films to its ‘Giant Scream’ this Halloween, to keep the whole family entertained.

The Birmingham venue is hosting the socially distanced screenings in its Auditorium, (formerly the IMAX cinema), to provide guests with a safe and fun experience this October half term.

On Thursday 29th October, film fans of all ages can enjoy the vibrant colours and toe-tapping rhythms of Disney Pixar’s Coco. Get transported to the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead, and experience this multi award-winning animation on the giant screen.

For those looking for a truly immersive experience, celebrate Halloween in style on Friday 30th October with a special screening of classic 80’s movie, Ghostbusters. In partnership with The Wine Events Company, guests can enjoy four delicious themed cocktails throughout the evening alongside live cocktail-making demos and fun movie trivia.

The award-winning events team at Millennium Point has introduced a number of measures to ensure that the socially distanced screenings are safe for all to enjoy. These include reduced capacity in the auditorium from 354 to 181, allocated seats, hand sanitising stations throughout the venue and a cashless and contactless experience.

Rebecca Delmore, commercial director at Millennium Point, said: “Our socially distanced screenings have proved to be a big hit with visitors of all ages – and it’s been fantastic to get feedback from guests who have really appreciated being able to enjoy the cinema again, whilst feeling safe. We hope we can give families and film fans something to look forward to this Halloween at our ‘Giant Scream’, and help them to create some fun memories this half term.”
