JS Wright honours key suppliers.
Birmingham mechanical and electrical services specialist JS Wright has honoured its key suppliers for their excellent standards of quality, commitment and service delivery at its annual awards ceremony.
The 130-year-old contractor awarded its Supplier of the Year trophy to R&M Fixings & Supports, a Southampton-based national supplier of building fixings and support products, at the luncheon held at Cucina Rustica restaurant in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
JS Wright, which has its headquarters on Portland Street in Aston and an office in London, also presented its Subcontractor of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year awards to Bristol underfloor heating specialist Mec-Serv and Woking-based renewable
The awards for outstanding levels of product and consultancy service, delivery and quality were based on nominations from staff across JS Wright’s mechanical and electrical design, installation, prefabrication and maintenance operations.Managing Director Phil Leech commented: “Without our key subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers, JS Wright would not be as successful as we are. They are a vital addition to our team – and it is a pleasure to work with such like-minded people and companies.
“The fact that the nominations for these awards have come from all departments is testament to how well our suppliers are integrated within our business.”
R&M Director Steve Cargill said: “JS Wright have been a customer ever since we started in business in 2004. We share similar values to those ingrained in their DNA and our businesses have grown successfully side by side ever since. Hence, having been runners up on some six occasions, accepting the JS Wright Supplier of the Year award on behalf of everyone at R&M Fixings & Supports has been a source of great pride and satisfaction.”
He added: “It really is great to feel valued and a part of JS Wright’s successful team. Special recognition must go to our Gary Neale and Rebecca Cargill who continue to work so hard to provide their companyt and its various site teams with the highest levels of service.”
Mec-Serv Director Matt Pullin said: “Winning the award for best subcontractor from our key client means a great deal to me personally and all my team. It’s an amazing achievement and I’m very proud of all my staff for achieving this. It’s really nice for them to know that their hard work does not go unnoticed.”
SAV Systems Director Jan Hansen commented: “All of us at SAV are hugely proud to have won the 2019 Manufacturer of the Year award. This award is a great endorsement of the can-do attitude and attention to detail which we bring to everything we do.
“Our people have regular dealings with their JS Wright counterparts across all project stages, from initial M&E design to final commissioning. We look forward to our next chapter of working together.”
