Follow the leader with business seminars

Recruitment firm announces series of leadership development events.

Birmingham-based recruitment firm, Katie Bard, have announced a new series of leadership development seminars, in association with Dale Carnegie Professional Development Training.

The first event, which will take place on Wednesday 22nd January, is titled ‘Breaking barriers to leadership: engaging and enabling talent to make the step up’ and is designed to help both existing and aspiring managers who are keen to develop their leadership skills.

Sponsored by The Progressive Employers Group, whose aim is to bring together progressive employers in the region to inspire change in the way we manage future generations and retain the very best talent.

Verity Stokes, Director of Katie Bard, explained: “The team and I are really excited to kickstart 2020 with a new series of events. Aimed at aspiring business leaders who are looking to advance their management skills, including ways to help develop talent into leadership roles in order to grow businesses whilst retaining intelligent people as this is essential to the success of business in the next decade.”

“These events will be a great way for current employers to revisit and improve their skillset, whilst providing the opportunity to bring along any of their team members who would benefit from leadership training.”

Taking place at Unique Venue’s Birmingham inside The REP Theatre, from 5-7.30pm, Katie Bard has partnered with Dale Carnegie Training to help deliver the informative events, enabling delegates to benefit from their extensive market research, proven experience and innovative training processes, headed up by Regional Director, Mark Sharratt.

The event will be an interactive session with a mix of delivered material and participatory workshops, providing informative content that delegates can take away and implement in their own workplace.

Mark Sharratt added: “We’re really excited to be working with the Katie Bard team on these specialist leadership development seminars. Delegates will experience an in-depth insight into how Millennials are changing the working landscape and how businesses should adapt to benefit their company. There is a huge opportunity for employers to develop this young talent and place them into leadership roles, which is what our workshops will provide.

We look forward to welcoming delegates from every sector as I’m sure it’ll make for an enjoyable evening!”
