City hotel continues to sizzle

Malmaison serves a taste of the season with sizzling summer menu.

Malmaison Birmingham is spicing things up this summer, with the introduction of an indulgent Liquid Brunch and a stunning a la carte menu. Serving up the new offerings is recently appointed restaurant manager Laszlo Lango, who is leading the taste-sensation surge.

Chez Mal’s new menu offers contemporary dining to awaken the senses. Using the finest local produce, the menu experiments with a myriad of flavours and sees every dish look as good as it tastes. From a Teriyaki prime beef carpaccio starter to a classic poached salmon main accompanied by a creamy hollandaise sauce, the menu features influence from across the globe. The unique Thai sticky chicken lollipops through to the hearty Aberdeen Black ribeye, the offering sees dishes cover every corner of the world.

If brunching is more your thing, you can enjoy a boozy bottomless brunch for just £29.95 per person. Sip your way through two whole hours of unlimited Prosecco, Aperol Spritz or Heineken, whilst indulging in the scrumptious brunch options; go classic with an eggs benedict or mix things up the Mal way with a delightful coronation charred tofu salad.

The stellar menu will be served up by Laszlo Lango (pictured), who joined the team in February. After working in London for twelve years at high-class hotels, including Hyatt Regency and Covent Garden Hotel, Laszlo is well-acquainted with the world of hospitality and plans to evolve the vision of Chez Mal.

In his new role, he will be managing a team of 23 staff members, carrying out daily briefings, training and maintaining brand standards – but his top priority will be to ensure every guest has a five-star service in the brasserie.

Commenting on his appointment, Laszlo says: “I can’t wait to get stuck into my role as restaurant manager – I’ve been in the hotel industry for many years, but I’ve never come across a hotel as unique and stylish as Malmaison. I think it’s really important to love what you do and delivering world-class service is my passion. I want to make sure every guest has the best dining experience possible and honour the new delicious summer menus.”
