Fun in the mud for charity playground

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity chosen as partner for inaugural Mud Kids event.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity has been chosen as the official charity partner for Mud Kids’ inaugural event in the West Midlands and is calling on children and parents to sign up and help raise vital funds for the sick kids cared for at the hospital.

Taking place at Umberslade Farm Park, just outside Birmingham, on 18th and 19th May, Mud Kids is the ultimate children’s playground – a 3km course of obstacles and fun…and mud! Entrants will tackle climbing walls, crawling stations, slides and hay bales, all while slushing through mud.

The event is open to children aged four and above, plus parents and guardians. Places cost between £16.58 and £21.91.

Serena Daw, Public Fundraising Manager at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We’re delighted that Mud Kids has chosen to partner with us for its first-ever event in the West Midlands. Mud Kids is truly a unique event and great opportunity to do something different with the whole family, while raising money for our patients.

“Best of all, the kids get to do what they love doing most – run around, have fun and get muddy! So please sign up now.”

Mark Richards, Director at Mud Kids, comments: “We are really excited at Mud Kids to be supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital. It does such an amazing job for the region’s children and we want to help raise as much money as possible to support the children and families that use its services.”
