City hotel hosts first gathering of new group.
Two local business initiatives have joined forces to form one of the region’s largest PA and EA networks. The PA Way, founded by Skevi Constantinou, and the Gatekeepers Guild, the brainchild of recruitment specialists SimkissGuy and property experts FleetMilne, have embarked on a collaboration that will see them expand their offers of personal and professional development for the city’s assistants.
Last week saw the official launch of the collaboration between the two leading PA networks at a glamorous event in the Hyatt Regency. With fizz, canapés, speeches, and even a chance to be made-up by the likes of Harvey Nichols’ Fenty Beauty experts, Marc Jacobs, and Hourglass beauty, the event brought together 100 of Birmingham’s assistants.
This successful gathering has paved the way for the rest of the year, with a series of four more events between the groups due to be saved in the diary for later in the year. These will run alongside the pair’s individual networking programmes, and are intended to give each’s members something new, different, and exclusive to try.
Speaking about the collaboration, SimkissGuy’s co-founder and joint managing director, Rebecca Simkiss commented: “We are thrilled to be starting this relationship with The PA Way and believe that we are bringing something really special to Birmingham’s growing PA and EA scene. As a business, SimkissGuy Recruitment is a big believer in the power of working together and the brand synergy we share with The PA Way meant this was an easy decision to make.
“Going forward, we look forward to hosting more fantastic events with The PA Way, and giving extra value to both sets of members.”
