Birmingham Jazz Legends Festival announced

100 Years on from the Suffragette movement.

The Birmingham Jazz Legends Festival 2018 has been announced and will mark Birmingham Jazz’s contribution to the centenary celebrations of female emancipation.

The Festival features the front line of Jazz Suffragettes, today’s players demonstrating their own emotional journeys and those of the past – celebrating jazz women. Each element of the festival will bring a woman performing jazz into focus.

Over the six days there will be fourteen gigs, featuring a variety of national bands and legendary names and the very best of local jazz talent.
