Only Fools and Horses actor John Challis, who brings his one-man show to Sutton Coldfield in March, will marry his on-screen love, Joyce (played by Sherrie Hewson) as Monty Staines this Wednesday on ITV 1’s Benidorm.

Londoner Challis, known to millions as the second-hand car dealer Boycie, will take fans behind the scenes of the show which was recently voted Britain’s Best Loved sitcom. Only Fools and Boycie will take place on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday 10th March at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.

Tickets are charged at £17 (booking fees apply) and can be purchased here or by phoning the box office on 0121 296 9543.

The listed Victorian Town Hall, close to the town’s railway station, was recently taken over the Sutton Coldfield Arts and Recreational Trust, a team of local Arts and Heritage enthusiasts. Staff at the iconic community theatre, meeting and party venue are creating an exciting line up of shows and events for 2018, from dances, bands and musicals to Gin and Beer Festivals.

More forthcoming events, ideal for Mother’s Day gifts, include Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre Company’s production of The Full Monty (20th–24th March), Manor Musical Society’s Kiss Me Kate (24th–28th April) and 70s favourites Showaddywaddy on Friday 4th May.
